Description
This workshop run by felt artist Claire Priestley (member of Network Artists North East and The International Feltmakers Association) is perfect for beginners or those wishing to refine their felting skills. During the day you will work from a favourite landscape photograph, which you will be able to choose and discuss in advance. By the end of the workshop you will have a finished piece of artwork to take home with you.
During the morning you will lay out your picture, then in the afternoon wet felt the wool and create detail using needle felting techniques. You will be given full small group tuition and have the opportunity to use a wide variety of wool, fibres, textures and colours to add interest and enhance your work.
All materials, tuition and light refreshments are provided throughout the day.

The price of the day workshop is £75. Lunch can be ordered at the onsite café or please bring a packed lunch.
