“What a wonderful day. I was a little nervous as I have not attended such a course but Claire made me feel at ease from the moment she opened the door and invited me in for a cuppa and a delicious cookie. She is such a a talented artist and teacher and I came away having learned so much as well as having the most relaxed day in a long time. I had the most amazing time chatting with Claire and feel so lucky to have had her share her knowledge and skills with me. This session would make a lovely gift or a treat for aspiring felters like myself and is such good value for money. I would encourage everyone to give it a try as I came away with a beautiful piece after a fun day of learning so much. Her tutorials on youtube are a great watch and a good reminder of the techniques but having the guidance in person as well as seeing her art was truly inspiring. I was thrilled with my felted landscape and it will serve as a reminder of such a lovely day. Claire was kind and patient and helped me on the parts I found difficult but allowed me to explore my own ideas. What an absolute treat of a day thank you x “

“I had a wonderful day on the wet felting course, I really enjoyed it. There were plenty of materials available and Claire talked us through each stage in a very helpful way. She was always on hand to offer help and advice and show us techniques to help us to improve our pictures, so we all came away with pictures we were pleased with. “We thoroughly enjoyed our day wet felting with an abundance of materials/tools provided, the venue was lovely and Claire was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We had a class of 5 which was a nice size to get to know each other. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone, we had never done anything like this before and managed to produce a landscape! “

“I was nervous to do this course, but from my first tentative enquiry Claire was utterly lovely, explaining the structure of the day and making me feel at ease. The day itself was small enough to feel really individual. We worked at our own pace, shaping out our ideas but with support and encouragement. I did not have high expectations for my landscape but honestly, it came together into something I’m incredibly proud of thanks to Claire. I could not recommend this course more!”

“Wet Felting day workshop 16th March Claire was really friendly, welcoming and which put me at complete ease the entire day. I arrived with a few photos which with knowledgable guidance and help from Claire I produced my first ever piece that I’m really proud of (so much so I’m going to have it framed!). I found the process itself is very relaxing, working with a wide variety of shades of wool and (my fav) the sari and mulberry silks allowed me to be lost in a world of colour, with the silks to add extra dimension to the work. Not only will I be booking in again, I haven’t stopped telling everyone I can about the workshop (and an excuse to show the price Claire helped me make) as well as looking for pictures to use as inspiration for the next workshop I can make. Thoroughly enjoyed both the Felting and being in Claire’s company, I can not highly recommend enough!”

“Wet felting workshop 19 January 2021. What a fab day! I went knowing nothing about felting and learnt so much, thank you Claire. I felt I had been given plenty of one-to-one tuition, guidance and creative suggestions that enabled me to produce a lovely picture, much to my surprise, as I simply couldn’t envisage the outcome. Will definately do this again. Delicious lunch, snacks and drinks combined with small group of lovely people, enhanced the experience. Thank you :)”

There was an abundance of quality materials for us to use – can’t recommend it highly enough.”

We were very pleased with the outcome of our work, having had no idea what to expect ( or much talent) Claire was so helpful and patient and has such an amazing supply of equipment which helps each person to create a beautiful image. “So good I have now attended a full-day course run by Claire twice – I even took my Mum and Dad the second time as a birthday present for them both. The day is always great fun, the time flies incredibly quickly and at the end of the day you have had a good work out (great for ‘bingo wings’ Claire tells me!) … and you get to go home with a lovely and totally unique piece of art. Claire is a really great teacher – she understands and adapts to every person’s needs. She is incredibly patient and an all-round lovely person to spend a day with. Wool is such a gorgeous medium and with Claire’s help everyone goes away with something stunning – I honestly have not seen anything which hasn’t made me say wow! I want to go again now I’m thinking about the day! As everyone else has mentioned lunch I will too – it was lovely and even my Dad couldn’t eat any more 🙂 I would highly recommend to everyone .”

“I attended the wet felted landscape class with my mother. We both had a fabulous time, Claire is a great teacher so enthusiastic and explains and demonstrates every step of the process in a clear easy to follow way. We both came away with a beautiful picture each that we had created, cannot wait to get it framed! We also got a very tasty lunch, the day flew by and I look forward to doing some more classes.”
