Recently a lovely lady from Somerset contacted me asking for a custom set of Merino wool and needle felting equipment. She had a special project in mind and was keen to mend small holes in woollen garments using needle felting techniques. Her items arrived this morning and she started work straight away! Here is the result and I am so impressed, what a wonderful idea. Ellen tells me that after the garments are washed the felted designs become even more durable. I am going to have to raid my wardrobe and look for suitable jumpers to mend and improve.
