I was absolutely delighted to be selected as a finalist in the ‘Social Responsibility’ category in the Teesdale Business Awards and huge congratulations to the Teesdale Conservation Volunteers who were also finalists and The Warm Age Wood Company who were the very worthy winners. I would also like to thank ‘The Greenfields’ who sponsored this category. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the ceremony, but was presented my certificate by Iris Hillery and some of the lovely ladies from our Monday Felt and Fibre group at the Scarth Hall in Staindrop. We enjoyed a glass of bubbly and homemade cakes…..delicious!
